Stabilization analyzing of multiple look-ahead car-following model

Abstract:
With the consideration of the information's effect of the multiple leading cars to the following car,an improved car-following model of traffic flow has been deduced.The linear stable judging condition is obtained for the improved model by its stable analyzing,which shows the stable range of the improved model is enlarged obviously by adjusting the information of the multiple leading cars.The kink-antikink density wave is attained in unstable range for the model by nonlinear analysis.Numerical simulation sh...
