A Evaluation Method of Teaching Quality Based on Information Entropy

Abstract:
In this paper, an evaluation method of teaching quality based on information entropy is proposed. Under condition of admiting difference of students' entrance examination score, we give a new concept about reward punishment matrix and its determining method. This evaluation method emphasizes on students improve rather than score itself. In the end of the paper, a practical analysis is carried out by example according to the data from four middle schools. Analysis shows that this evaluation method of teaching quality is fair and objective.
