A Two-dimensional EWMA Control Chart with Variable Sampling Intervals

A two-dimensional exponentially weighted moving average control chart with variable sampling intervals is proposed.The Markov chain method is used to calculate the average time to signal.The datum show that this proposed chart is more efficient in detecting shifts than the fixed sampling interval control chart.
