Systems biology,a new way for biological systems research has been proposed.This paper overviewed the background of its emergence,and introduced its contents and methods.Moreover,we discussed the relations and differences among cell biology,molecular biology and systems biology.Finally,we provided some suggestions for further study of systems biology.
