Study on the BPR-Oriented Business Process Model and Its Application

Being a new concept of organization and management, business process reengineering (BPR) needs not only an ideological change, but also to be supported by appropriate methodology. In any case, BPR oriented business process model is of great importance. This paper starts from the analysis of the necessary features and requirements for BPR oriented model. Then a Petri net based BPR oriented business process model (BPM) is proposed, and two groups of its model mechanisms are discussed. At last, an example is illustrated.
