On the Conceptual Foundation of Information Systems

Abstract:
The traditional understanding of information system is analyzed, and a new understanding, which is termed as "organization information system", is suggested on the basis of re-thinking the concepts of "system" and "information". Finally, the paper discusses the theoretic structure of the organization information system.
