The Application of Weighted Markov-Chain to the Prediction of River Runoff State

Based on the special characteristics of the river runoff being a dependent stochastic variable, a method, which is used to predict the state of the future river runoff by regarding the standardized self\|correlation coefficients as weights and using the weighted markov chains, is developed.Furthermore, the method is applied to a real instance.
