Modeling and Simulation of Switching Rule-based Scheduling System

In this paper, on the background of production scheduling,the problem of modeling and simulation of switching rule based scheduling system is considered. Firstly, based on the analysis of the relationship between rules and performance indices, the concept of general swithching rule based scheduling system(GSRSS) is presented. Secondly, a detailed discussion about the modeling architecture and method of GSRSS is given, in which the hierarchical modeling mechanism of hybrid dynamic systems has been introduced. Finally, the modeling procedure is shown with an illustration and computer simulation based on this model is successfully carried out to draw some useful conclusions about the original system.
