A New Method for Multiple Attribute Decision Making with Given Preference Information on Alternative

Based on two reasonable assumptions, we propose a new method for multiple attribute decision making with given preference information on alternatives, and theoretically prove its validity. In comparison with the methods previously proposed, this method has a better capacity in distinguishing between the alternatives. The method can be applied to solve all MADM problems with quantitative and/or qualitative attributes.
