From Group Support System to Creativity Support System
从群体支持系统到创造力支持系统

Group support system(GSS) is oriented to group activities,such as communication,information sharing or group decision making during collaborative problem solving process,especially for unstructured problem solving process.One of principal challenges in GSS research is to support generating creative ideas which may help to extend to further analysis and investigations.Such kind of focus leads to studying on creativity support systems(CSS).In this paper,a brief review of CSS research is given,which follows the introduction of group argumentation environment(GAE),whose design and functions reflect the concept of human-machine cooperation with more emphasis on(human's) active role and consideration in procedural rationality in group argumentation process.Finally,a simple application of GAE to Xiangshan Science Conference is demonstrated.
