An Optimization Model for Levels of China Agricultural Domestic Support within WTO Framework

This paper adopted partial equilibrium theory, according to the six digit level of the harmonized system, and analized the influence of alteration of agricultural domestic supports on state welfare. In order to find out the appropriate levels of agricultural domestic supports in China, nonlinear programming approach was utilized, which based on constraints of the annual financial budget and WTO Agreement on Agriculture, the optimization model for levels of China agricultural domestic support was built to aim at the maximum welfare.
