Optimal Boundary Control for Time-Varying Population System with Spatial Diffusion and Age-Dependence

This paper discusses the optimal boundary control of time\|varying population system with spatial diffusion and age\|dependence, proves the necessary and sufficient condition for a control to be optimal and obtains the optimality system. And the application of penalty shifting method to the approximate solution of control problems for the system is researched.
