Stochastic Spatial Price Equilibrium with Transporation Competition and Congestion

A stochastic spatial price equilibrium (SPE) model is proposed in consideration of the product differatiation of the regional brand with competitive transportation market and congestion. On the basis of multinomial logit, the discrete choice model is used for analysis of SPE, while it takes into account of the perceived errors on the regional brands. It is proved that the SPE is a special case of the stochastic SPE. In this paper, an algorithm is developed. Examples are employed to illustrate the application of the model and the algorithm.
