Application of Multivariate Statistical Analysis to Assessing Synthetically Polluting Status of Rivers
多元统计分析在河流污染状况综合评价中的应用

Using the methods of factor analysis and cluster analysis,the paper makes quantitative analysis and comprehensive assessment of the polluting status in degrees and in similarities for representative sections in Huangshui basin,the paper also gives the results verified with discriminant analysis method, which can provide some scientific bases to control the pollution of the rivers.
