Analysis of the Optimal Processing Policy of Remanaufacturing System
|
Abstract:
By queueing theories,we study a remanufacturing system which is composed of one disassemble shop, one processing shop and one assemble shop. The objective function is the total weighted average sojourn time. Under steady state, the optimal policy is to endow component B with higher priority if and only if the remanufacturing system satisfies the rule. In addition, by numerical example we conclude that improving on the working procedure of component A_2 is very important in order to minimize the total weighted average sojourn time.
