Self-Organized Bionic Co-evolution of Web-based Manufacturing

Abstract:
Web-based manufacturing is a new manufacturing mode. It is the variation and adaptive development of the traditional manufacturing mode in the network economy age and is the surpassing of the traditional one. In this paper, the theory of hypercylce of biological evolution is applied to the study of the forming and evolution of the web-based manufacturing mode. The co-evolution mechanism of the cooperation enterprises, of the enterprises and the network resources and of the enterprises and the messages of their competence and credit is analysed. It is concluded that it is the hypercycle that contributes to the forming and evolution of the web-based manufacturing mode as it does to the origin and evolution of the life. The forming and evolutionary process of the web-based manufacturing mode is characterized as self-organization, self-enhancement and mutual enhancement, competition and co-evolution.
