Study on the Design of Distributed Intelligent Decision Support System

The challenges faced by intelligent decision support system (IDSS) for aiding large scale and complicated ill structured decisions are analyzed. The integrated system of IDSS and distributed artificial intelligence is the trend of IDSS development, which provides solutions for large scale and complicated problems through cooperation solving of system internal intelligent agents. The problems of agent structural design and cooperation among agents are elaborated for distributed IDSS (DIDSS). A framework of DIDSS structural design is presented, and the cooperative problem solving process is described.
