An Amendatory Multi-path Traffic Assignment Method on Lingering Response Information

A special route-choosing behavior of trippers is discussed and the definition of Lingering Response Information(LRI) is defined in the paper.BY taking trippers' chooses on LRI into analysis,the traditional multi-path traffic assignment method is improved.Some key questions,such as how to describe the LPI influence area and confirm the origin of second route choosing,how to deal with the relation of many LPI fountainheads and their influence to traffic assignment,and how to control the process of second assignment to make assignment outcome practical,is expatiated in detail.Finally,a new advanced multi-path traffic assignment algorithm and an operation example are offered.The new assignment method could make references to traffic influence analysis,constituting the urban traffic management measures,transportation planning and so on.
