The Consistency and Ranking Method for Comparison Matrix with Linguistic Assessment

Comparison matrix with linguistic assessment is kind of preference information of pairwise comparison of alternatives provided by the decision maker. In this paper, the conceptions of satisfying consistency on linguistic comparison matrix and its judgement approach are proposed theoretically. Based on the linguistic comparison matrix with satisfying consistency, two simple algorithms for ranking alternatives are given. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the use of the proposed method.
