Application of COM-based Operating System for Embedded System
基于COM的操作系统在嵌入式系统中的应用

The target of studying the application of COM-based operating system in embedded system is to make a better application in embedded system with component technology, which is the advance software developing method. From the aspects of the COM mechanism of operating system, the comparison with the Microsoft COM, the main components of operating system and the application in embedded system, the paper studies three typical COM-based operating systems that can be applied in embedded system: OSKit, MMLite, and Elastos. It also analyzes the system architecture, configurability, apllication characteristic and performance of these operating systems, and provides several considerations on this technology in the future. This will be useful to study the application of component-based operating system in embedded system.
