Partners Choice of Asymmetric Research Joint Ventures

Abstract:
The partners choice of RJVs is studied in this paper with a game in the R&D process to decrease the marginal cost. The influence of the asymmetric cost on the RJVs formation is sufficiently studied. Conclusions can be got that the larger the cost asymmetric, the more difficult the formation of RJVs. The market profit of the innovation also affects the formation of RJVs.
