The Coupling Mechanism and Emergence of Complexity in HeXie Management
|
Abstract:
Considering the framework of Hexie management theory, the concept of Wright's fitness landscape and Kauffman's NK-model involved in biological system evolution are imported. After HeXie landscape is proposed, four core-elements of HeXie Theme, He, Xie and environments from HeXie management theory are regarded as four modules or dimensionalities of organizational system from the perspective of system analysis and modularization design. The effect of coupling and the changeful degree of interaction on performance of organizational system is simulated. The results of simulations suggest the coupling mechanism of HeXie management is characterized by "adaptive walk" among local optimality and global optimality, and complexities to be worthy of being taken into account emerge from the coupling mechanism.
