ASYMPTOTIC ERROR EXPANSION FOR QUADRILATERAL ISOPARAMETRIC FINITE ELEMENTS

Abstract:
A second order elliptic boundary value problem is solved by the quadrilateral isopara-metric bilinear finite element method.An asymptotic error expansion with the remainder offourth order is proven.
