THE CONFIDENT LIMIT OF RELIABILITY UNDER TYPE-I CENSORING DATA OF EXPONENTIAL LIFE

Abstract:
This paper proposes a point estimstion method for parameter with Type I censoring life data of exponential distribution Based on this estimation, an interval estimation of the parameter is obtained by using Winterbottom's extened Cornish--fisher(write WCF for abbreviation, cf.1]) expansion. Furthermore, reliability assesment of a system consisting of exponential components with Type I censering life data is discussed. Finally, the numerical simulation shows that the proposed methods are feasible.
