In the general truncated distribution family, asymptotically median unbiasedestimates for linear function of truncated location parameters are constructed, basedon parametric or semi-parametric models. It is proved that these estimates areasymptotically efficient from the Takeuchi's point of view in some cases, and arenot in other cases.
