EXTRAPOLATION FOR FINITE ELEMENT SEMI-SIMPLE EIGENVALUES

For the second-order elliptic eigenvalue problem a new scheme of the Lin extrapolation me-thod is posed.The scheme can be used to improve the accuracy of the finite element semi-sim-ple eigenvalues at the cost of a few more arithmetic operations.
