ERROR ESTIMATES OF MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHODS FOR THE PROBLEM OF NATURAL CONVECTION IN AN ANNULAR CAVITY

Abstract:
On the basis of the fluid flow and temperature distribution studied in this paper, an initial-boundary value problem of Boussinesq equation for natural convection in an annular cavity is established. Two mixed finite element numerical methods and their error estimates are presented.
