NONLINEAR GALERKIN ALGORITHMS AND ERROR ESTIMETES FOR NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS

Abstract:
In this paper we provide some numerical schemes for the 2-D nonstationary Navier-Stokes equations and analyze the error estimates of numerical solutions corresponding to these schemes. Here the spatial discretization is performed by using the nonlinear Galerkin spectral method and time discretization is done by the Euler scheme, Crank-Nicolson scheme and two-step scheme. Finally, some numerical test is done.
