EXTRAPOLATION METHOD FOR FINITE ELEMENT EIGENVALUES AND EIGENFUNCTIONS

In this paper it is shown that the extrapolation method can be used to improvethe accuracy of finite element eigenvalues and eigenfunctions if the given domain canbe triangulated into strongly regular meshes,i.e.any two adjacent triangles form anapproximate parallelogram.
