Au L X-ray and Xe M X-ray emission following 129Xe30+ ion impact on Au surface
129Xe30+与Au作用激发的Au M-X射线 与Xe L-X射线

The X-ray emission due to the impact of 129Xe30+ ions of 1.0—7.0 MeV kinetic energies on Au surface is detected.The experimental result shows that when ion kinetic energy is larger the incident ion excits not only Au M X-ray but also Xe L X-ray.The X-ray yield and the ion kinetic energy have a strong correlation with each other.The relationship between the X-ray yield with ion kinetic energy is analyzed.
