Influence of electron-phonon interaction on single electron tunneling in a quantum dot molecule

Abstract:
The dynamics of electron tunneling between double quantum dots is investigated theoretically in terms of a perturbation method based on a unitary transformation. Considering electron coupling with phonons, the dynamical tunneling current is obtained analytically. The phonon_induced decoherence is studied in detail. A possible decoupling mechanism is proposed.
