Interaction of H3+ cluster ions with solid foils
|
Abstract:
The yields of H -, H, H 2, H 2 + and H 3 + for H 3 + clusters passing through carbon foils have been measured. The results showed that the charge exchange process in the interaction of H 3 + ions with solids plays a key role in the formation of these products. The cluster effects and wake effects of H 3 + ions in solids are also discussed in detail.
