Transport and recombination of charge carriers in organic electroluminescent devices

Abstract:
Based on the Fowler-Nordheim tunneling injection,a model for carriers transport and recombination in organic single-layer devices at high electric field is presented.A complete analytic function for electron-hole pairs fission and recombination and densities of electron and hole are proposed.The influences of applied bias and injection barriers on the device current densities and light-emitting efficiencies are calculated and discussed.
