The effect of doped-Zn on the low-temperature properties of heavy electron compounds CeCu6-xZnx
|
Abstract:
We report the particular sample preparation method and the experimental results of the low temperature resistance and specific heat of heavy electron metals CeCu 6- x Zn x(x =0.05,0.10,0.15,0.20,0.30). The physical origin for the effect of the Zn content on the low temperature properties of CeCu 6- x Zn x are studied. We find that both the coefficient c of Kondo scattering term and the T max corresponding to the maximal resistance decreases with increasing Zn content. While the Debye temperature of CeCu 6- x Zn x slightly go up with increasing Zn content.
