SOUND ATTENUATION IN METALLIC SUPERLATTICES
|
Abstract:
Following the line of our interpretation of the conduction behavior of metallie su-perlattices, we have studied the attenuation of sound waves in such artificial materials, with special emphasis on the dependence upon the modulation wavelength. Acoustical experiments may help to justify the physical mechanism of transport processes suggested in 1].
