The effects of Amanita exitialis toxin on the cure of mouse skin papillomas chemically induced by DMBA/ croton oil
|
Abstract:
Inhibition effect of the toxin in Amanita exitialis on mouse skin papillomas under safe dose and the drug safety was evaluated primarily. The mouse skin papilloma model was established by 7,12-dimethylbenz (a) anthraene (DMBA) / croton oil induction, which was a classical two-stage cancer model. The inhibition effect of Amanita exitialis toxin was observed and evaluated under different doses. By means of analysis of amino-hexose in serum, the hepatic cell damage induced by toxin was determined. The result showed that Amanita exitialis toxin in low dose can cure skin tumor in dose-dependent manner, and no harmful effect for hepatic cell. It was concluded that Amanita exitialis toxin can cure skin cancer.
