Multicellular Morphogenesis of Sorangium cellulosum
纤维堆囊菌的多细胞形态发生过程

Myxobacteria are gram-negative bacteria with complicated multicellular behaviors. Sorangium cellulosum is the only myxobacterial species with cellulolytic ability. This paper studied the multicellular behaviors of growth and morphogenesis of S.cellulosum on cellulose substrate with scanning electron microscope and phase-contrast microscope, and provided the pattern of growth and morphogenesis.
