The fungal genetic transformation is an essential method for the research of functional genes.The latest advance in fungal genetic transformation system was reviewed in this paper,mainly including transformation methods and their advantages and disadvantages,types of selective markers,separation methods of the tagged gene and the application of the transformation system.
