Isolation and identification of the endophytic fungus producing polydatin in Polygonum cuspidatum
虎杖内生真菌产白藜芦醇苷菌株的分离鉴定

Endophytic fungi isolated from Polygonum cuspidatum in Qinba Mountains, China, were studied in this paper. Screening of metabolites in submerged cultures for these isolates by HPLC showed strain M-56 could produce polydatin with the yield of 1.029 mg/L. According to the morphological characteristics and ITS sequence, we identified the strain as Alternaria alternaria.
