BACTERIA IDENTIFICATION AND THEIR PATHOGENESIS IN RED AND WHITE ABDOMINAL SHELL DISEASE OF TRIONYX SINENSIS
|
Abstract:
Seven strains were isolated and identified from T sinensis with red and white disease using traditional method and VITEK identification systems. These consist of 3 strains of Aeromonas hydrophila, one strain of Aeromonas sobria, one strain of Stapgylococcus aureus, one strain of Klebsiella pceumoniae and one strain of Vibrio damsela. Both S aureus and V damsela are the first to be identified in T sinensis. Toxic test showed that all strains were lethal to mice , 6 strains had pathogenesis to T sinensis except the strain K pceumoniae.
