MORPHOLOGICAL QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF BACTERIAL L-FORME

After four species of bacteria were induced into L-form by the meanes of antibiotics orozone,the image analysis technique was used to analysed their area,d_(max),d_(circle),perim.and f_(shape),aswell as tremendous bodies of the L-forms.The abov-mentioned 5 terms of morphological parame-ters had increase significantly with a variety of 0.29-13 m more than those of the bacterial typesonly except the f_(shape) parameters.The f_(shape) paramters of the L-forms were evidently smaller thanthose of bacterial types.The morphological parameters among bacterial L-forms had a marked dif-ference(p 0.05).So this suggested that morphological quantitative analysis could accurately andobjecti-vely reflect the results of morphological qualitative observation and morphological varia-tion degrees of bacterial L-forms.It also could provide a basis for morphological quantitative anal-ysis of bacterial L-forms.
