THE PHYSIOLOGICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTIC IN FLAMMULINA VELUTIPES SING CULTURE UTILIZING STARCH PROCESSING WASTEWATER AS MEDIUM
|
Abstract:
The liquefied starch processing wastewater was utilized as medium for submerged mycelia culture of Flammulina velutipes. The variation of mycelia pellets morphology, biomass, pH. total sugar, reducing sugar, ammonia nitrogen, amylase activity, protease activity was inveshgated during the process of fermentation. The growth curve for the mycelia of Flammulina velutipes is described and the growth kinehc model has been established. The growth curve showed a lag phase of approximately 2 days followed by a linear phase (the 3rd~8th days) when rapid growth took place, and then followed by a decline phase. During the 3rd-6th days, the speed of mycelia growth reached the top with the highest enzyme achvity and speed of consuming the substrates. The pH value continued to increase during the incubation. The interachon among the physiological and biochemical factors is discussed.
