APPLICATION OF ULTRAVIOLET SPECTRUM TECHNIQUE IN OIL RESERVOIR GEOCHEMISTRY
|
Abstract:
In view of the limitations of the chromatogram fingerprint technique in studying biodegraded heavy oil, this paper discusses the application of ultraviolet spectrum technique in the oil reservoir geochemistry. The study shows that conjugated bond aromatic hydrocarbon is the main contribution to the extinction coefficient of the crude oil and has additives. The similarity of crude oils can be estimated by extinction coefficient(E) because the diversity of migration process, the concentration of aromatic hydrocarbon is different and different matters have various characteristics.According to the characteristics of single layer oil, mixture oil and proportioning oil,the continuity of reservoir and the contribution of single zone productivity can be calculated using the ultraviolet spectrum technique.
