Present Research Situation and Prospects of Tight Gas Sands

Tight gas sandstone takes a large proportion in all natural gas reserves in China. Understanding the tight gas sandstone correctly is the most important thing in the sand gas reservoir development. This article elaborates the current study situation of the tight gas sandstone from such aspects as the concept, the genesis and the feature, the fissure prediction and the evaluation, and outlines the future study trend of the tight gas sandstone.
