Multi-parameters Joint Inversion Technology Predicts Gas-Bearing Tight Sandstone
|
Abstract:
The difficulties of reservoirs prediction lie in multi-|results and low resolution. The multi-parameters joint inversion in the prediction of gas-bearing tight sandstone is carried out. First of all, sandstone and mudstone can be differentiated by gamma ray log curve which is sensitive to formation lithology. Secondly, tight sandstone can be removed by porosity inversion to find out favorable reservoirs. Finally, gas-bearing tight sandstone can be effectively identified by inversion of the reasonable log curve reconstruction. The results of reservoir prediction for gas-bearing tight sandstone in Chuannan area indicate that it can finely predict the thickness and distribution of the gas\|bearing tight sandstone. Its prediction result coincides with the actual result.
