Forming Mechanism and Distribution of Low Pressure Reservoirs in Southeast Uplift of Southern Songliao Basin
|
Abstract:
The analysis of the forming mechanism of low pressure reservoirs and the hydrocarbon accumulation process and distribution reveals that the study region is uplifted after the deposition of Nenjiang\|Mingshui Formation. At that time, the huge-thickness cover was eroded and unloaded, faulting was active, oil and gas were largely dissipated, and hydrocarbon generation stopped, then the low pressure came into being. The early reservoir was destroyed by the regional uplift, and the remaining oil and gas accumulated in the original or lower traps. During this process, the hydrocarbon was in short of supply, and the formation pressure couldn′t recruited efficiently, so the reservoir rocks showed a character of low pressure. This kind of reservoir is mainly distributed in the small fault\|depression with bad source rocks or small traps in the great fault-depression.
