Abstract:

Yaha condensate gas reservoir in Tarim basin is the biggest uncompartmentalized condensate gas reservoir under development at present, also is a high pressure one which is developed by the method of partly maintaining the formation pressure by means of gas cycling in world. Condensate gas reservoir is a kind of special, complicate gas reservoir, during the period of the development, the system of the condensate gas flow in formation and pipe with complicate phase change, it appears multiple-phase flow, complicate specificity of phase change, the great change of well fluid composition, rapidly rising of the gas-oil ration, wellbore liquid loading and cross-hole cross flowing, gas channeling and so on. So compared with other kind of oil and gas reservoir, it is more difficult to monitor and analyse the performance, and the requirement for the technique is higher. The Yaha condensate gas reservoir has been developed for three years; being aim to the all kinds of special phenomena in the performance monitoring and to applied research for resolving the practical problem, in Yaha condensate gas reservoir, successfully establish and apply the complete technique system for monitoring and analyzing the performance of condensate gas wells; and it is better to monitor and analyse the changing law of formation property, the feature of pressure change, the change of the liquid composition and the feature of phase changing, the contradiction between lays, the injected gas to the effect of counter evaporation of condensate oil and so on, during the development of the condensate gas reservoir; and it satisfies the requirement of the performance monitoring and analysing. This paper summarises present technical outcomes and preview the advanced monitoring and analyzing technique.
