PHYSICAL AND NUMBERICAL SIMULATION ON GAS MIGRATION LAWS THROUGH FAULT

Abstract:
Using experiment installation desigend and installed by ourselves, this paper simulated oil migration laws through fault. The results indicate that there is a direct proportion relation between the migration velocity of oil through fault and inclination angle of fault, there is an inverse proportion relation between the migration velocity of oil through fault and granules and mudston cotents of filling material in fault zone. Using simulation experiment, this paper studied the relation between the migration velocity of oil through sandstone example and that of gas through sandstone example. Three is a inverse proporation relation between the ratio between the migration velocity of oil through sandstone example and that of gas through sandstone example and porosity and permeation of sandstone example. Based on it, this paper studied the migration laws of gas through fault by numberical simulation according to the migration law of oil through fault. Considered the miaration velocity of gas to be a few hundred times more than that of oil through fault in the same conditions. There is a direct proportion relation between the migration velocity of gas through fault and inclination angle of fault, there is an inwerse proportion relation between the migration velocity of gas through fault and granules and mudstone content of filling material in fault zone.
