Yingjisu depression is a break-sinking basin that was developed on the low-Paleozoic denudation physiognomy.There are many growing-faults that stop activity in front of late Mesozoic in the area.This paper analysised the roles of faults in formation and preservation of oil gas pool from different way.Fault movement may improve the storing space and ability. The oil-gas gathering time and stratum is controlled by faults. The fault movement may form many style traps.The roles of faults in formation and preservation of oil gas pool are important.
