INFLUENCE OF CRUSTAL UPLIFT TO PRESERVATION OF OIL OR GAS POOLS

Crust uplift, as an important geological phenomenon, can make oil or gas pools reach earth's surface and destroy. If crust uplift can't make oil or gas pools reach earth's surface,it will give an important influence to preservation of oil or gas pools. Crust uplift can increase the capillary sealing ability of caprock and decrease the pressure and hydrocarbon concentration of caprock. Crust uplift can decrease the sealing ability of faults and make them open. Crust can make water from earth's surface, oxygen in free phase and bacterium contact with oil or gas pool,make oil or gas pools take place water washing,oxidation and bacterial degradation. Crust uploft can make gas diffusion lose amount from gas pool increase,can't be favorable for oil or gas to preserve.
